'I have to say that our factory floor has been transformed with the use of your EcoTile heavy-duty interlocking floor tiles. Over the years we have continually refurbished our floor either by painting or repairing, but your tiles have now given us an effective maintenance solution. Not only did we require a floor covering that could cope with localised heavy weights but also to bear the use of forklift trucks that are used to move machinery around. With the added advantage of the floor tiles being laid dry this had enabled us to easily rearrange the factory layout, something we would not have considered lightly previously. Thank you for a very efficient service and we will definitely call on you for any future flooring requirements.' Managing Director - Siemens Automation and Drives

- ecotile is not recommended for use outdoors
- If ecotile is being installed in an area exposed to direct sunlight (e.g. loading bay doors) or in an area where there are extremes of temperature it may be necessary to glue the tiles, contact us for further advice.
- ecotile must be fitted with a 5mm expansion gap between the tiles and any fixed point (walls and machinery)
- The minimum temperature at which ecotile can be installed is 15ºC. The tiles must be stored within the installation area at a minimum temperature of 15ºC for at least 24 hours prior to commencing installation.
- ecotile offers good resistance to petol and other hydrocarbons, however in the event of prolonged and excessive exposure the elastomer in the tiles can be damaged and may result in the tiles curling. In the event of a spillage clean the tiles and if you suspect the chemical has got under the tiles we recommend lifting and cleaning the underside of the tiles.
- Rubber tyres (car, motorbike & fork truck) contain a chemical that can cause staining on ecotile as well as other types of floor coverings (vulcanisation / plasticiser migration). This will not damage the tiles but we recommend using a darker colour to minimise the impact of the staining.
