'I have to say that our factory floor has been transformed with the use of your EcoTile heavy-duty interlocking floor tiles. Over the years we have continually refurbished our floor either by painting or repairing, but your tiles have now given us an effective maintenance solution. Not only did we require a floor covering that could cope with localised heavy weights but also to bear the use of forklift trucks that are used to move machinery around. With the added advantage of the floor tiles being laid dry this had enabled us to easily rearrange the factory layout, something we would not have considered lightly previously. Thank you for a very efficient service and we will definitely call on you for any future flooring requirements.' Managing Director - Siemens Automation and Drives
"What a breath of fresh air, having dealt with numerous company’s and contractors this year in various projects and being let down with late deliveries, wrong supply, not turning up etc it was pleasing to deal with a professional outfit. I wish to thank you all for a very professional job in all aspects. Deliveries turned up when advised, fitters arrived early and worked in a safe manner, and the finished flooring looks great. Needless to say we are very happy with the product and service we received and we would certainly recommend The Versatile Flooring Co." Team Leader Nissan UK

Industrial flooring: Strong and durable
Industrial flooring needs to be tough, durable and safe. With heavy footfall and the movement of heavy-duty machinery, warehouses and factories need industrial floor tiles which are up to the challenge.
Tools and other items are often dropped and that is why industrial floor tiles must be able to take a certain level of punishment.
But durability is only part of the story with industrial flooring. Industrial floor covering also needs to be safe for employees to work on.
For that reason it is important that factories, workshops and warehouses take into consideration health and safety issues when selecting their next industrial floor tiles.
At Versatile Flooring, we can guide you through everything you need to know regarding industrial floor tiles.
We can help you select the best factory flooring and workshop flooring for your needs, taking into account health and safety, durability and flexibility.
Our hardwearing floors will stand up to any challenge presented. Our industrial floor tiles have been used in some of Europe's biggest warehouses for more than 25 years and continue to do the job well.
Industrial flooring: Get it right the first time
For many businesses, budgets have been squeezed due to the effects of the recession.
That means they need to extract maximum value from every pound spent.
One way of doing that is buying industrial flooring which will stand the test of time.
Having industrial flooring replaced every few years is not cost effective, meaning industrial flooring must be strong and tough.
Our workshop flooring, factory flooring and hardwearing flooring are sound investments.
After laying our industrial floor tiles, you can simply forget about them and you soon will. That is because our industrial floor tiles will not give you any problems at all.
In fact, you will hardly notice our industrial flooring, which is exactly what warehouses need.
Factories have bigger things to worry about than poor-quality factory flooring.
That is why they should install industrial flooring which is strong and will not need replacing within a few months or years.
Another reason why industrial flooring needs to be tough is that any problems could see work stop and productivity fall. That ultimately means a loss of money.
Add to that the extra cost of installing new industrial floor tiles and it soon starts to mount up.
The best way to avoid this is to invest in top-quality industrial floor tiles which once laid down, will stay there and give workers a safe and durable substance to work on.

Terms & Conditions of use:
- ecotile is not recommended for use outdoors
- If ecotile is being installed in an area exposed to direct sunlight (e.g. loading bay doors) or in an area where there are extremes of temperature it may be necessary to glue the tiles, contact us for further advice.
- ecotile must be fitted with a 5mm expansion gap between the tiles and any fixed point (walls and machinery)
- The minimum temperature at which ecotile can be installed is 15ºC. The tiles must be stored within the installation area at a minimum temperature of 15ºC for at least 24 hours prior to commencing installation.
- ecotile offers good resistance to petol and other hydrocarbons, however in the event of prolonged and excessive exposure the elastomer in the tiles can be damaged and may result in the tiles curling. In the event of a spillage clean the tiles and if you suspect the chemical has got under the tiles we recommend lifting and cleaning the underside of the tiles.
- Rubber tyres (car, motorbike & fork truck) contain a chemical that can cause staining on ecotile as well as other types of floor coverings (vulcanisation / plasticiser migration). This will not damage the tiles but we recommend using a darker colour to minimise the impact of the staining.
